How my card adventure began

Everyone who has a passion for collecting cards has a story. For me, it all started in the late 90s. A friend of mine showed me his collection, and I was immediately hooked. The colorful illustrations, the excitement of collecting, and the endless trading opportunities — I knew right away that this would be my new hobby.

With my first pocket money I bought a booster pack. The smell of fresh cards, the sound of opening the package — it was magical. My first rare card was a holo Khangaskhan (which I still have!), and from that moment on I was hooked.

The growth of my collection

In the years that followed, my collection grew steadily. Every birthday, every holiday, and sometimes even for no reason, I bought cards. I saved every penny to spend on new expansions.

At one point I had over 15,000 cards. My collection was extremely varied: from the first generation of cards to modern series. I had folders full of carefully arranged cards and a drawer full of loose cards that I had not yet had time to neatly store. Games like ' closest to the wall ' and ' handjeklap ' allowed me to grow my collection without spending any money on it.

It wasn't just the collecting that attracted me, but also the sense of community. I traded cards at events and made new friends who shared the same passion.

A new chapter in 2023: say goodbye or expand your passion?

As with many collections, there comes a time when you wonder: what now? For me, that moment came in late 2023. My collection was getting too big to manage, and I found myself with cards that I hadn’t touched in years or had as many as 40 duplicates (hello, Base Set Charmander!).

I decided to sell my collection little by little, at least the duplicates.

A new mission: selling cards for others

While selling my own collection the site grew so fast that I started selling other people's cards on the site. So you will find a combination of cards from my collection and cards that other people want to sell. Think of it as an auction house.
